Hi all, still own my 1.1i saxo but also got a Corsa D 1.3 CDTI Club (57) plate and was wondering, if i should stick 17in alloys? on? or stick with 15inch alloys? and if i would get the ECU remapped or get a PSI modded? also any ideas on how to wire up the LED's that i purchased inside the Head lights or in the Fog light spots? and idea's welcome

yea i was gonig to get some 17's but there expensive lol like all alloy's heres something off topic but got do i change avatar? is it worth installing any ICE?
the car is standard 75 BHP, with ECU remap on all stock it would jump to 90/95 if i had air filter and a PSI mod it will jump to about 100/105, would defo be faster, but i dont want a car thats fast but looks slow lol, i want a slow car thats looks fast, and will add the proformance after....

well i was going to talk the ICE out of my Saxo, and get a little LCD Screen and put in the centre console, install a PCI express GPS card install some Tom Tom Maps and also ITunes, wifi card with a Win7, and run a Small Program, which handles all of it.
but its finding room for it all, i was going to store the comp under passangers seat run cables under the carpet put to console, sound any good?

Do what you want it's your car
why didn't you buy a 90bhp in the first place? Surely the insurance difference is only marginable and you get a 6spd box?
Why have you bought LED's for it? Are they sick, blud?

yes i got LED's going to put them where fog lights go, i only been driving on full licence for 2 months so insurance is a lot more of the sxi or sxr, i want to get some peoples ideas so i can see if i think it would look good, i probably get the SXR Body Kit but costs around 1000 for good one

Waste of time and money.
Why fit LED's to a Corsa? Do they come standard? NO so why?
Modifying it. Again it's a 1.3 Diesel ffs, the fact it has a Turbo is irrelevent it's still shit slow.
Just enjoy the cheap motoring and don't make a chav wagon that will earn you unwanted attention!

So 30bhp from a remap and air filter? :homme:

well considering there not that heavy, 100 or more bhp on a small car, is better then a large vehicle with 100 brake all about bhp per ton, on the corsa D forum everyone has the LED's, so affence may only be a low car but in till i can afford on insurance a faster car then i will have to mod, then i been driving for longer and built no claims then i will but at the moment i cant.... i could of got a VTR or a SXR had the money but cant about 2000+ a year on insurance at that price in 3 year i would have paid more on insurance than the vehicles worth.

any ways just because the car dont have them standard means nothing, as if everyone kept every standard then there would be no need for sites/forums like this, all cars from 2011 will have LED's standard so rather than standing out as a Shitty old car might as well get them on and try and stand the test of time, i mean come on everyone Mods there are its not like im putting Blue washer lights on or anything atleast there day LED white lights.

Yes i did look at these but all they do is give engine more diesel, but remap is almost undetectable and you use less diesel, some people do both lol on the ukcorsa-d forum there's a 1.3 CDTI with both and PSI mod and also filter ect, bhp is now 155 and Torque 276 Nm so dam fast....

No they wont, they might have DRL's, but gay bright LED's will never be the "law"
155bhp? From a engine that normally puts out 90bhp? that's pretty impressive gain!

That's a problem :)
Sell the corsa and keep the paxo, don't waste money modding a freight train!

You realise your insurance will go up when you declare your mods anyway right? Or are you gonna be a bad boi and not declare them?
What's the point of fucking around with a shitty slow car, really? Just get real mate and leave it as it is, and stop being such a stereotypical boy racer doyle. It's never going to be "fast". As Aly said, enjoy some cheap motoring and be thankful you have such a new car and leave at as it is.

Genuinely cannot believe that you would go to such lengths to make a shitty slow car, just a little bit faster.
Fuck me. Save your money...enjoy cheap motoring for a year then get a car that's worth spending money on, or a better car you don't have to spend anything on.
Patience is such a fucking important aspect.

1.3 diesel. On 17s. 0-60 in like a minute

although turbo diesels do respond well to remaps. A diesel 1300cc engine size isnt exactly going to return good figures. You will probably be happy for a few months but then you will crave for more power.
Save the money and enjoy the mpg.

well what that box does from DTuk is first it give you more power and also saves your fuel by studying how you drive and if your driving like a good boy it leans out the mixture but as soon as you put your foot down then hay put it back to the power setting.
the good thing about this is its cheap and reliable mate and if you don't like it then you unplug it and it will take you 5 minutes to plug it in not spending a day at the RR trying to set up your ecu if you can find a place to do it.
this is by far the most sensible mod to do.

Yea think this is the route it will go, i mean very one like its not a fast car, nor is a saxo 1.1i but dont stop people doing it up anyways, i order a slitter last night, as well as some smoked rear lights, i already have some DRL LED's which maybe going in the front headlights or where the fog lights would have gone. what you think? i will be ordering the sci or sxr spoiler soon too
