just ripped my carpet up and all the blue foam stuff is socking wet
WTF how is it like that?
Its only on drivers side

when i brought the car the guy before changed the window seals

Wasn't it leaking in through his aerial above the light?
There are a number of grommets down there that could leak. Check the bungs by the A pillars, they could not have been replaced properly

Like OZ said cheack all gromments mate
Sit inside the car and get someone to pour a JUG of Water over the drivers side and see if you can see where it is coming from
shall i just rip all the foam out
what does it do anyway? just sound deading?

I took it out of my old Green VTS because it got wet
basicaly is it a major problem i.e. well it rust the floor pan
take it out mate, will start to smell if you leave it. nowt worse than a damp stinky smell smileys/smiley5.gif
i got to take the seats out etc etc to get to all of it dont i?
Just went and had a look there a trickal of water on the bottom of the door and the door seal had water on it

yo mine was soaked on the passenger side.
The garage found a leak coming from the windscreen so it's the windscreen is getting replaced next week (for free smileys/smiley4.gif)

i dont have any carpet in my car smileys/smiley17.gif i get a puddle every now and again.. i just soak it up with kitchen towel...
it was coming thru the aerial.. but i cured that with instant gasket... not sure where it comes from now... lol
