Hi i have a mk2 saxo vts which has an oil leak around the cylinder head area. I think it could be the head gasket but just want a second opinion. I have a few pics of it to make it easier to see what im on about :y:

Hi i dont think its the rocker cover gasket. Ive not long fitted jp4 covers with a new gasket, most of the oil is further down towards the block. its also all over the alternator aswell. Thanks tho mate ;)

more likely cam seal or cam ladders leaking rather then head gasket as leak appears to be above the manifold

Its hard to tell in the photos but the oil is all over the engine block below the manifold and also all over the gear box. I have to top up the oil every so often.

mine pisses out of the same place, but nowhere near that bad... take the cam casing off and chuck some loctite in there

Hi what do you mean by the cam casing, do you mean cam covers, I've just fitted brand new jp4 covers with a new gasket. Thanks :)

Degrease it all then keep an eye on it, will give you a better idea of where it coming from then.
