Aerial problem.. cant get it off!?

I've got 1.4 furio, ( 1st car ) and i wana stick a beesting aerial on it. But I cant unscrew the original!? it literally wont come off, ive taken the whole thing off but it wont unscrew from the base? is there a way or is it just really tight?

mine was extremely tight, just got some molegrips and twisted it pretty hard, worked though, just make sure you dont wanna keep the original cus mine got destroyed :)

your also best off getting a Richbrook anti-theft beesting Ariel ive had a few cheap ones nicked off my car the anti theft ones are about £10 more then the ripspeed ones you can get from halfrauds but they are almost impossible to get off.

stick a pair of molegrips or grip the aerial and twist it, it will come off eventually.

got it, used wd40, sprayed loads on it to loosen up the inside then it came straight off/

On the inside of the car where the aerial comes through theres a nut attaching it wire brush the nut spray with wd40 & leave overnight then try.
