hi all. Im tring to get the offside hub off to do the pads and discs and replace the driveshaft.
I cant turn the nut at the end of the shaft? Is there something im missing? Thank you

do you mean the 32mm driveshaft nut, if you havent got an air gun then a long half inch bar and somebody inside the car standing on the brakes is what you need :y: , those nuts are tight, 200nm+ torque iirc , so youl have to put some weight into it :y:

do what i do get somebody to put there foot on the break hard and jump on a breaker bar, soon does the trick lol.

jack car up, brick on the break and then put a bar ( i use an old fork stantion) on end of socket and then its easy

Might make it easier if you chizle out the lil bit that you tap in to stop it from coming loose. Then foot on the brake and a scaffholding pipe over a breaker bar. Jobs a goodun.

Heres an idea leave the wheel on with it on the floor with the handbrake on take the center out of the wheel and undo the nut.

its pretty hard
but just on it and will come lose in end
