do u guys put ur bass on ur headunit to the max?

yeh but the gain on the amp is below half, anything above and on certain songs i can't hear the actual song just bass. sounds awful

my opinion the headunit dont do much for the bass on the sub want more thump put ur bass boost on, on ur amp ! and then look at the frequency settings on the amp for the exact levels of bass u want.

in my old system i had coaxils in front so i turned bass down and used dso higher sound stage on the headunit so i had the higher frequency's in front with sub low frequency hitting from bk

very true, i just turn the sub down no the HU to 3 or so when i get sick of it and just have abit of bass coming from subs and comps

im always adjusting the bass levels.some songs some alright on a certain levels and some just sound poop.

i put my bass levels on my head unit max and the bass is too high but does sound clear

all i need is sum decent tweeters

Not just Bass level, its frequency..
I have Alpine Headunit goes up to +15 with Bass
I run inbetween 8 and 12 depending on mood and music.
But frequency on the actual sub..
That never goes over a 3rd.

my bass level goes up to 6 butb have it on 2 usually, dont wanna be a chav now do i!!! except when wanna cause some havock, whack it up to 6 bass, volume 25, windows down, BOOM BOOM BOOM!!!

my head unit goes upto 8 i think so iv got bass and gain at 4 it sounds awesome and anything above 10 on volume makes your head vibrate. smileys/fcuk.gif smileys/smiley20.gif
