Hi I'm looking to buy a VTR but I'm 6"4" and well a Saxo isn't the largest car going ;)

Is there anyone else of similar height, who has a Saxo VTR with standard seats, and can let me know if I'll be able to fit okay into one?

Cheers.

Dan.

I have mates who are 6 foot plus who can fit in saxos. One used to own my old vts and didnt have too much of a problem.

You will fit in it, whether you are comfortable or not is a different matter.
Your best bet would be to go and sit in 1 ;) chances are being tall you will have big feet.

Big feet + saxo = crash lol. The peddles are quite close together tbh, but you do get used to it.

Test drive one first is your best bet mate, see if you can manage the peddles and if you are comfortable

Thanks man! Is it comfortable enough though? I used to have an Escort (before writing it off) and that was obviously bigger so just wondering if it will find it a bit awkward...

See my above post ;)

Your best bet is test driving one, he might be comfortable, you might not.

You might struggle with peddles

Big feet + saxo = crash lol.

Slight exaggeration.

I used to drive both of mine with steel toe boots on, on a regular basis, never had a problem. Same when I wore my vans, and they're wide as fuck!

Hmmm the close together pedal thing could cause a problem =\ is it actually a problem or will it just be something that needs getting used to?

Sorrys Saxo's wernt designed to allow poeple who are over 5'6" with feet larger than a size 5 to drive them.

Youll get used to it, you dont need big feet to realise! I was using the brake as a clutch the other day when I drove a saxo for the first time in months lol

I know it was, I don't literally mean everyone with big feet crashes...hence I put 'lol' after it. It was just to point out they are actually quite close together. I'm size 10 and can manage fine with work boots on, other people struggle. My mate has size 9 feet and drives a range rover, when he gets in my saxo he presses 2 at once. It can depend on what you have driven before. And as I said before, he will get used to it. Dont take everything so seriously

:D my mate is a 12 and he manages fine aswell, but some of my mates are a 9/10 and struggle because of cars they have driven before

Sounds like a pretty stupid idea to put the pedals close together on a car that is obviously going to be driven fast.. Not that I'm supprised (French.) Maybe I'm looking into it too much but I just don't want to struggle to drive it fast cause of my feet n height

As I said before, and as Danny said. It is something you WILL get used to, but some people do struggle.

I'm not trying to put you off, just trying to give you the heads up on other things you might have problems with :y:

yeh see Im used to an Escort so probably going to struggle at first. I'm size 11 so if people with size 12 are doing it i'll get used to it soon enough.
