alternator?

Hi all,

Had a prob with my car earlier wouldnt idle properly at lights and then at low revs started sorta loser power. Then tried to start car later lights on dasg flicked on one click of key then went dead. Wouldnt bump had to get some jumps on it drove it 20 miles tyrned it off then had to get jumps on it again. Now its dead onxe again. No lights on dash at all not even clock. This could only be the alternator couldnt it ? And whats the usual price for a alternator at a garage ?

Yeah sounds like the alternater. but if u can fit it urself look on ebay and their under £40 to get it delivered!

If you get one from a scrappy ask to see it works first.
Sounds like the alternator to me. Recon ones are about the £100 mark exchange if I remember rightly.

Got the car goin down the garage weds my mechanics gonna buy me a recon one for cheap so alls good
