time for me to now do my heater matrix before winter, its been leaking for a while but very very little... heaters only go warm and thats about it- ive got my heater matrix now and going to start to remove the dash tomorrow morning..... ive tried looking at searching a few threads up on removing dash.. did come up with a few but not the answers i really wanted---
just wanted to know really how many bolts are their to remove the dash and also are there any hidden ones ??
i know about d/c the battery to remove the airbag steering wheel,
also is there any wires i need to dissconnect as i got a mk2 vts and has a airbag also where the glove box goes?- is the wire long enough to me to move the dash abit forward to get to the heater matrix ?
thanks adam

it's pretty easy.
remove steering wheel, centre console, dashboard dials, wiper motor setup, lower console.
Then I think there's a bolt either side on the door pillar (around where the bonnet pull is on one side)
one bolt in the middle behind the centre console/lower console
3 bolts in the scuttle, behind the wiper setup.
then slowly remove the dash, the whole heater setup comes off with a couple of bolts, in the scuttle area
^ ^ Something along those lines

Don't get me wrong, it is a ball ache to do - but nothing too complex.
I think there's 3 under there for the dash, and 2 for the heater matrix? Or might just be one for the heater box and one inside the cabin?
The biggest ballache is getting the oem hose clamps off the heater matrix pipes on the bulkhead !!
