previously ive had goodyear f1 tyres on my saxo and maxxis victra with both set of front tyre doing roughly 10,000 miles on half country roads and half motorway. The grip on both these tyres were exellent and my current tyres continentals are wa*k compared.

My wheels are 195 45 16 btw

I haver narrowed my options down to

Goodyears f1 again 150 quid

Yokohoma S Drive 110 quid

Toyo T1r 110 quid

Im not sure which ones to got for but the Yokohomos are the most favroable.
Has anyone got any advice or how good or bad the above tyres are? on grip and tyre wear?

thanks

Some fowk tend to feel that the toyo T1r's wear quite quickly. I got them put on the new alloys I bought a few months ago but I barely use the car so cant put opinon on their wear rate.

I've not had any experience of the other two, personally loving Uniroyal Rainsport's at the moment :)

ive heard that the toyos wear quickly if you corner hard, and i do that everyday, they dont sell the uniroyal rainsport in the 195 45 16 size that i need im affraid, they only do 195 50 16 and since my cars lowered they would rubb "/

had toyo's and eagles... toyo's were f**ked after 7months of mixed driving, covering about 5-6k?

now have eagles and think they are a better tyre in both wet and dry but not had them long enough to comment on wear rate..

i had 10 - 12k out of a set of goodyears, but had to change them due to tracking being out and ruining the tyres
