hey gang! new guy with a 1.5D

hey guys
i bought my saxo 1.5D last monday just as a runarbound for the winter
she has a few things wrong with her but she seem alright considering how little i paid for it
to be honest i take a particular disliking to most things french but the saxophone seems to be changing my mind a wee bit
the reason why i bought it was i needed a winter runaround whilst my other car is off the road for some work, an E36 318iS

i just signed up to here to get some pointers on repairs etc
i am also a member of bimmerforums.co.uk and the help i have recieved on there has been fantastic, i hope that this forum is much the same :cool:

I also own a 318is mate....mine is off the road having the engine changed hence buying the saxo for a little knock about I own a 316i compact also which I am just restoring :)

i am doing the same thing im just in the process of trying to find a 2.8 M52 engine to throw into it as well as a load of other parts, E46 330 calipers, vert lower cross brace etc etc
what engine are you putting into the coupe?
