they are 75 rms but theres some jbl gto ones for £50 and they are 90rms so i fink i'll go with the jbl's, plus jbls get a speperate crossover.
but what about the amp, should i really stay away from it and look for a better brand one?

If you have £150 to spend on the amp + £50 for the comps, take a look at this amp JBL GTO75.4 (http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=4140&cadid=24f5bc9ff21d9b7d7a0b00478305f373) this will allow you more than 100w RMS per channel for less than £100. With this you could then spend the extra £50 on a pair of these comps Rainbow SLX230 (http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=3855&cadid=24f5bc9ff21d9b7d7a0b00478305f373).
You will achieve a much better quality sound, and there's very little chance you'll be dissapointed with this set-up.
