The reason for this dicision is that the exhaust is rather loud and is doing my head in a little, but i dunno wot to do so help me guys.

The car will keep being modded when funds allow i just wanna know if the direction i am going is good.....

never been a fan of it, and if your going to the subtle look then i dont think it works as your sticking things on - less is more smileys/smiley2.gif

its not stupidly loud, its just abit more than i expected being a full system on mine. I was expecting it to be a cat-back as it came off a mk2 with cat in downpipe then i realised my cat was underneath as i have early mk2 and it then became a decat = LOUDNESS it sounds good just dunno wot to do, in 2 frames of mind!

I don't like the rear diffuser so i'd get rid of it and have a subtle backbox.

I think the dual exit looks FANTASTIC - but if you can't stand the noise, what about a single exit with a dummy exit on other side? Would keeps the looks but lose some of the noise.....

Leave it as it is, will cost you a fair bit to get another bumper & colour coded so you wont have that big hole at the opposite side of the original exhaust.

POSSIBILITY is to remove rear seats carpet over and where the seats used to be, raise it slightly with MDF and sink speakers into it and a sub and have some amped speakers where the seats were, it would be slightly raised towards the front so the sound isnt going into the roof but towards head height

well i took rear seats out 2day to test it and it kills the drone, but does add road noise yer

and road noise, when i was a slag it really really got on my tits, also the car is alot cooler inside, in Feb it was freezing

ok then out of interest, would there be any interest in:

- Powerflow Duel exit 4" cans custom made - Decat system on mk1 / early mk2, cat0back on 2001 onwards.

- Rear bumper in posidion blue with R&M Rear splitter blended in, fully colour coded, slight damage where exhausts sat and some scratches here and there but generally good condition.
Ideally PX for a standard posidion blue rear bumper.

nothing has been decided yet but id like to see if any1 would be interested in buying either items local collection only mind u as they are large items

scratches on right hand side by wheel, paint chipped off under each exhaust tip, few light scratches but looks very good on the car and is in no way bad condition.

yer its looking that way at the moment for me aswell, wanna see wot sort of interest id get in these items and if i could source a new bumper and backbox first.

Powerflow is worth alot of money and bumper is quite rare so i wont let them go unless i get a sensible offer.

You could go down the scrappy and get some more sound proof out of a bmw or jag, then put more under the back seat. Get a louder stereo system to drown the zorst out smileys/smiley16.gif smileys/smiley20.gif

****UPDATE*****

The bumper has now gone exhausts comming off 2morrow, made a final decision 2day, havnt lost any money infact am making a small profit smileys/happy.gif


Now going for magnex, smoked jewl lights prob and lowering instead.
