My Mum ownes a celica, it's a 2.0l turbo and has been chiped.

I have to say, my little saxo is completely outshined by it in every way! They both look cool on the driveway together though, real head turners!

not sure bout a vtr....again, the vtr would certainly keep up with it but not after 60-70 mph!

i used to work at a car sales garage and i drove the 1.8 model and 2.0 gti an tbh my vtr was quicker thatn both and handled a lot better they were both fairly sluggy, ohhh btw the 2.0 gti was the bosses missus' car aswell tehe she was well fine lol smileys/smiley2.gif

120bhp isnt a lot for a 2litre 16v the vts pushes that out, and the vts prob weights half of it too.

standard sax vts has around 110bhp so a few engine mods and will do it easy there are loads on the site that would beat it

Few mates of mine have the celica, not that quick to be honest. The 2ltr turbo would beat a vts though not sure about off the mark but top end it would.

The 1.8l had 114bhp, the 2.0l had 154bhp, so I think you have that wrong mate.

Plus, his car is 13 years old, the oldest Saxos are 10 years old.

In the long run, his car will be better built and more reliable being Japanese.

yer its a gti 93 plate non turbo it dos not seem that fast when you ride in it to be onest my mates alfa 1.7 16v is faster and thats a 93 he said it was 120 bhp maybe hes wroung but if it is more power than 120 thats worst that means its really slow smileys/smiley3.gif
