Hi folks I put it here because I don't know anywhere else to put it so I'll just put it here anyways.
This morning when I got up with nothing to do so I decided to go exploring around the south. I ended up in Petersfield, Havant, Hayling Island then Portsmouth in the end stopping off at random places.

Anyways these are the pics I've taken.

I'm only new with a DSLR camera so if anyone has any tips on pictures or scenic points or even good things to bear in mind when taking pictures.

Thanks

Get yourself a tripod mate. The 1st couple and last are blurry (the car).
Also, try to get the horizons level.
It's little things that make the bigger difference.

All imo of course.
Good luck.

cheers I've got a tripod coming for xmas so will hopefully get a few lenses too. most of the pics I've taken my hands have been bloody cold so a fair bit of shake has been involved too.

I've taken a fair few more pics since and tbh most of them have turned out ok I may add them here in a sec or 2 but hopefully they'll get better as we go along. some of the pics ie the top and bottom ones were getting a tad dark so I was just fiddling with the settings trying to see what they do. I've since got a book for the specific camera so hopefully that'll help too.

Cheers for input :)

lol, i've just seen this thread, looked at the car and thought 'i swear i've lowered his car'... then looked at the date of the thread.

(my missus has been making me go mad, every night i swear i put summat away and when i get up in the morning it's moved, of course with much denial!)
