Ive been looking at another Saxo, and the details for the reg number comes up as a Saxo VTi.. Is this a common model?

Can someone please give me some details on them? Its a 1.4, so i was presuming it was either a westcoast or a VTR with an engine change, but this got me stumped.

Are they 16v? Whats the insurance group?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

If the OP can give us some more info on the car... Discs / Drums, Interior etc - Can work out what model it is normally - Then its probably an import of that?

I'm assuming if its a 1.4, That would be like an irish VTR? Possibly. If not, probably a european model?

Cool. Im going to see it in a few days and ill report, its in a very unusual colour, its like a metallic purple/blue. Very smart, ive not seen one in this colour before.

Will be mine by mid next week, with a VTS engine going in..:panic:

Just to add, if its an import would this have to be declared on the insurance? How do i find out if its an import?

Thanks
Paul.

Not going to be getting it anyway now, its a bit loose and needs more work doing to it than i want. Any to be honest, i dont think its been looked after. Hes just ripped a skirt off, and he waffled something about water in the fuel.

According to DVLA the VTis were, as pointed out above, Wescoasts that were imported into the UK from france when Citroen couldnt meet demand.

Poverty interior, drums on the back, but some different colours. Its funny because when i search online, it comes up as VTi. When i rang insurance, it came back as a VTR. On the logbook it states VTi, but nothing about importing and it was declared new and registered in the uk.

Anyway the car is this one:

Too low for me, had my fill of cars messed about with. Now has 207cc alloys on it if anyones interested on here.
