gushing water?

hi guys when i switch engine on in my 1.1 i forte yr 2000 i can hear a gushing watery noise.intermittent.any advice please :p

Means you've turned the car on.
On a more serious note, it's probably an air lock in the coolant system. Try bleeding the system and listening again

Make sure there is no water leaking into your footwell as this could be the heater matrix, if not just re-bleed the system and hopefully that will work for you ;)
