car chuckling

hey guys, hope someone can help me, i have a 01 saxo. 1.1, recently wen im driving at a constant speed. ie, 50k the car will just start to chuckle and jump while im driving, it used to happen wen the car would be cold but is happing on a more regular basis. also! sometimes the car would cut out when im turning corners or slowing down through the cars, any advise would be greatly appreciated

Hi Jas, sounds like a fuel or electrical problem. Worth changing plugs, air filter fuel filter etc but all that comes to 30 quid or so. Most problems like that will show up as a fault on you ECU or car computer which controls fuel flow, ignition and everything else engine management based. If you book your car in at a Citroen to have the faults read and ECU checked it's around £60, this should identify the problem straight away saving you the £30 to stat with. Plus this check is wrth having done regular anyway. Hope this help.
