removing the rear axle. how do i disconnect the handbrake cable?

it will just unclip from the callipers. follow it to the caliper, there will be a spring, a hook on the calliper, and like a mental block on the end of the cable
pull the spring back to release the tension, and pull the cable down and out.
or
quicker alternative, cut it and fit new ones.

yeh done that but the cable is going through a hole attached to the calliper.. the sleeve at one end and cable fed through how do i get it out of that?

Sorted it out now, drilled the bottom off the calliper out lol, got new callipers to go on anyway. The sleeve was properly fucking stuck in there on one side, the other side came out fine.
