Just sold my T5 manual V70 for a VTS (mrs just passed her test and wouldn't drive the bigger car) as the volvo was a second car to my van.

Is it wrong to want one....no. I miss my volvo like made. Big, comfortable, all the mod cons, safe as safe can be and reliable. Once that turbo came in it would leave the VTS for dead even fully loaded.

Once the wife has had a year of driving, the saxo will be screwed up and thrown in the bin and replaced by another T5 of some sort.

The only down side is with any big car is fuel consumption, not the best. Get heavy with the right foot and you will weep. The 20V 2.5 V70 is better on fuel and is nearly 200 horses.

but it if you chav it up and drive around with a baseball cap on you, and it, will look so stupidly out of place. If you are going to want to bling it up, buy a rich mans BMW cast off instead, stick chrome pipes on it and fit in with the rest of the world.

S40 T4 FTW I reckon, 200bhp and so understated it's unreal, I'd personally be removing the T4 badges off and going from there.

but when things wrong they aint cheap!
he had a window switch go wrong, managed to get one off a breaker on ebay but had to take it to the dealer to get coded to the car!!
its a window switch ffs!!
