What is the procedure of spraying them? Dont you have to sand them slightly or something?

No just the clean the lights first with a wipe or whatever and spray thin coats evenly from left to right. leave 2 mins to dry between each coat.

spraying thin layers gives it a matted effect. if your after a glossy finish then lay on like one or two thick layers but avoid getting runs

Yeah mate, plenty. Only spray 3 coats or there wont be much light and you'll get pulled so much. I did have a few pics of it in R and brake light ect... i'll dig them out. Try not to let the paint run or it will look so shit. Where abouts in surrey you from?

Strictly speaking tinting of lights is illegal. As anything that reduces the amount of light or changes its colour is illegal. If you are going to tint it just be aware of this and don't go to mad or the police will puck up on it.
