hey all
just wanting some info on touch up pens and paints as i have a few scratches but don't want to go to the extreme of respraying body panels if i can help it.

so are there any good products to deal with scratches and if so what is the deepest/worst the can deal with?
oh its a pozi blue if the colour makes a difference
any help would be great

Ive got a pro tin of posi blue paint thata only had a few sqirts, i sprayed it ijto a lid and used it to touch up a few scratches, gonna put it in the forsale section for 8 poind posted, was 15 from the paint surplies shop were the local bodyshops use

Sorry, I have absolutely no helpful input into this at all but I keep reading the thread title as touch up penis and I 'LOL' every time.

that is all you bloody think about is penis don't you viper haha

and i wouldn't bother with touch up pens/paints as they can make it look even worse probably would be best to either get it resprayed as it will look ten times better or just leave it

Buy some paint with the lacquer already mixed from Paints4U (http://www.paints4u.com/). Better than any touch up paint you can get from the dealers.

Touch the scratches/ chips in so they are just proud of the surface, then have a scout around on detailing world for someone in your area who may be able to wet sand and buff the marks out.

This is what I tried with my GTI bonnet took me a full day to sort it, eventually the scratch came back through but at first I did a good job :n:

As said before, it will be blatent if you used just a touch up pen.

If you know anyone who can wetsand and machine polish then get them to follow it up once it's fully hardened.

Other than that, if it's really annoying you then just fill it with touch up paint or from the website someone posted earlier and leave it protruding.
