Yes I'm 19, I live in the town Ormskirk which is near Wigan and Skelmersdale, I'm driving a VTR S Reg, I've said the cars not modded and it's in a locked garage, going to fit an alarm an maybe a tracker, any other tips I get give to my insurance provider to try an reduce my insurance premium? I have been quoted 2,580 which is from Admiral using compare websites, any tips!?!?!?!

Thanks in advance

Don't use Compare websites at your age. Only works +25 really. Add parents on policy as named drivers, if it's parked on the street, say it's parked on the street with Admiral (Makes it cheaper)

I hope the car isn't modified and is stored in a garage or your insurance premium is already void....

There are no tips for getting is cheaper, if you are 100% honest when you take out the quote then that is the price you will pay
The only thing you can do is try other companies

Its near Skem, ofcourse its a naff postcode lol

your area will be a massive issue with your insurance mate, as insurance companies also take into account claims of theft etc in the area. So with you being near Skem that wont do you much good lol
Move? IJoke obviously

Ok little boy, maybe you should read the post below before you go shouting your mouth of. People do and can get found out!!

I'll be TOTALLY honest in this post.

When I was 17 my parents insured MY car in their names with me as an additional driver. At the time I did NOT know this was "Fronting" or Illegal!

Unfortunately I did have abit of a bump and guess what, not insured. After explaining what was a GENUINE mistake and misunderstanding, the insurance company did not press charges although I did end up paying over £1,000 for repairs to my car and the third party vehicle.

Again, genuine mistake.

One of the other questions used to catch people fronting is the "How many vehicles in your household" 3 cars in a house with 3 people? What does that look like...?

Personally, if I knew someone was fronting I'd report it. They are not insured and shouldn't be on the road!

Ok 'big man'!
My point was and still is. I have already read that comment once. In another thread, then we all agree it aint going to change.
Then another person makes a thread which happens to be about insurance and you have to chuck something in about 'Fronting'.
So if your really that bothered.....which you clearly are, write someone a letter.
Maybe the person reading it will actually give a fuck

I got an insurance quote yesterday from admiral direct, for a 2001 vtr saxo. I am 18, no NCB have been driving for 1 year and 5 months, no points, fully comp, and i got it for 1450.

Hence the reason i am now buying a vtr.
