Working away .... No fun at all

I am totally bored as I am working in St hellier jersey, watching Americas wildest police chases in my hotel room (that is how bored I am)

I cannot even be bothered to go out for dinner tonight so I have ordered room service !

Does anyone else have to work away alone ?

I am the northern area manager for a large divisional petrochem engineering company.

I have been overseeing commissioning of high accuracy level instrumentation on a plant today.

Whenever I work away it's pretty much always with a decent group. Never alone anyway.

We work all day, then get pissed.

It really takes it toll! lol. But the money's usually great and there's all the added benefits of being away from home....

I've worked away quite a bit, wasn't too bad.. Best was in a hotel in Dingwall, free hotel and free meal every night.. Then afterwards drinking with this guy i met from Aberdeen, most nights just 4 or 5 pints but a couple nights we went a bit far and i slept in 2 days in a row, fuckin mdma

I ditched him the last 2 nights i was there though as i met a new bird and she came over both nights, and we just spent the night in my room so never seen him, and he was finished on the Friday and never seen him again, shame tbh

But When I had to go away from Courses, I took my laptop and a crap load of films, Books, Loaded up my ipod, Magazines.
