I'm from Preston, I lived in Liverpool for 2 years as a teenager and to blend you have to speak scouse... I can slip in and out of it dead easy still.

I also lived in Manchester for 2 years and now I live in Blackburn and work in Burnley so my accent is a bit of a mishmash.

Also spend alot of time up in Cumbria as my dad lived up there when I was in my teens.

the people that dont like Scottish accents wont like the infamous Weedgie accent - from the Scummy Glasgow tramps.

but Edinburgh accents are soft and fairly neutral. only iconic thing we say is 'ken' instead of 'know'

then you have the highlands accent, borders accent, Fife accent, Dumfries and Galloway accent (my favourite) ayreshire accent, west lothian accent .... list goes on!
