Girlfriends annoying ex-boyfriend...

Hi guys,

Basically been with the missus for the last two months.

Her ex-boyfriend (split up 10months ago) has recently found out and sends her a text every couple of days saying 'I love you' etc..

(she told me this, I didn't look through her phone)

Basically he is only doing it as he can't bear for anyone to be with her.

So I inboxed him on facebook just saying back off, I wasn't aggresive about it just a warning so he knows I know what he is upto...

he just replied a day later saying 'lol' which wound me up..


This lad weighs no more than 8.5 stone wet through, I in no way need to prove I am the dominant male lol, but he is one of those annoying little shits that is all mouth and will run away if he sees you...

What should I do? If he no longer texts my Girlfriend I am happy but I can imagine he will text her just to try and wind me up or something...

My main problem is I am a lot bigger than him, 2 years older (he is 19) so it wont do my reputation any good as everyone knows each other round here...

I also would rather not end up kickin off and losing my fighting license (I have a very very strict master and already had a warning and nearly lost it)

What can I possibly say to someone without sounding massively gay that he needs to fuck off without him being a cheeky little prick in response...

what can i say, my ex still got text by BOTH her ex bf's as they were weirdly best mates (the 2 lads), she whent out with one, then the other and they still tried to txt her even though they knew me and her were together, i think it was a plot to make her life shit as they wanted to fuck her about

i had the same thing mate...in my opinion theres a few options.

1. wind him back up, bit of the immature option but it pisses them off.
2. totally ignore it, as if hes not even there. aslong as your gf isnt replying or reacting as if she cares then its fine.
3. threaten him, say shes with you now and theres nothing he can do ect...chuck in a few violent terms if needed.
4. leave your gf, harsh one but if 2 months in, and trouble already getting caused you never know what could happen in the long run. trusting eachother might be a problem and arguements arise.

ive been with my gf for 11 months, this happened for the first month or two. i chose the confronting them shes mine not theirs root..worked for a few months then he came back, so then i threatened ect...everythings been perfect since, yet it happened to my mates and they just ignored it all and it turned out perfect aswell..

I had the exact same problem , this girl hadn't been with the lad for 10months then decides because hes taken she wants to talk to him again (after 10months of not seeing or talking to him) also had a boyfriend she got with a week after splitting up with the lad i was seeing. then gets her mates to add me on facebook made me lol im 5 years older than her. but thing was he was texting her back which encouraged her. but we fell out i hadn't spoke to him for 3-4 months i get messages off her on facebook and trying to add me really didn't see the point in that just to tell me they are back together .
