got my momo handbrake handle through the post today, but i think it is missing the rubber button surround?
heres what it came with...

grub screws, allen key and the handle all there but no rubber bit?
anyone?

do you mean the rubber boot that covers the rest of the handbreak,if so i think you have to but that bit seperate

no i mean the bit that you put in the actual handle that ends up going round the button that releases the handbrake on and off.

cant you use the original button,or go and have a look in halfords and see if the ones down there have the bit you are after,if so take the 1 you have got and say you bought it from them and say theres a bit missing

maybe might just give motorsportworld a ring as thats where i got it from!
its the bit that goes in this end...

it makes it a snug fit around the button!
was just checking if you actualy get one?

i would expect to get one if i bought the handle. its not meant as a cover to literally go over the existing handbrake is it? any instructions on the box?

ive got the same one think its the existing button that you use mate cant remember

you have to buy them seperate! about £5 a think because every car requires a different size adapter!

he's after something that fits around the button mate, as you can see in the pic the hole at the end is much bigger than the button
go & have a quick look at yours for him, you know you want to smileys/smiley2.gif

your missing the bit from the middle when i bought mine you got a few different ones with it so it fit all makes of cars could of changed now though and you have to buy it seperately or something

right went back on motorsportworld where i got it from and they also do handbrake adaptors there only £2 something is this what i need?

found out what i need now didnt know you had to buy it seperately, would have thought they would have said

at least you got it sorted mate, but yeah - i would expect them to make sure you knew about it when you bought the handle
