Other than looking fucking shit - whats the point in a Bonnet bra? Do they have some sort of practical usage, or is it just to look like shit?
Serious question.

Gloss black bonnet and roof. Smoothed and painted handles, door strips, bumper strips, lower valances, mirrors and grilles.
It was indeed on gloss black steels too.

bras are for holding a womans baps at an eye catching angle, not for trying to make a car look good.

Normally they are just for protecting the cars paintwork. For example cars for motorway miles or lots of driving would benefit from one

You can also get front bumper bra's but thankfully the "dub gays" havent cottoned on yet and theyre still for purpose rather than "looking rad"

ive seen alot of damaged paint by bras. Ironic that everyone bangs on about them protecting paint.
You could just do what most people do and fit a sheet of clear vinyl which is designed to protect and doesnt look absoulte dogwank.

Thing is aswel if people really did buy them to protect the paint then they would buy a full bra which look utter shite, so that argument doesn't really stand tbh.

Surely having a bonnet bra on will fade the paint at different speeds? so you will end up with a patch that looks spotless and the other will look naff?

Bras can protect from stone chips but like ive found out leave them on for a long period of time and not tightly fitting ones cause damage, most stones are flicked up at about bonnet height thats why theres just bonnet ones a plenty, all started from porsches iirc
On the label it does say to take it off after 3 days and leave 2 days for paint to breath, also have to wash your car plenty
My golf comes with them from factory or it may of been an optional extra im not sure
