Winter Holiday?

Hello

I haven't been on holiday for a while and have about £500 saved up.
I want to take the missus away somewhere but have no idea where to go in the Winter

Would love NY but im looking at over a grand and I don't have that

Anyone got any suggestions?

Would prefer somewhere with sun, I realise that £500 is only likely to get me to Europe and theres not much sun in the winter etc

Canaries this time of year are lovely and warm, im probably popping there in jan for a bit of sun.

£260 each can be done for a week + food and drinks, in a decent part like maspaolmas

Erm, yeah snow would be fine but shes not the snowboarding type....painted nails is all i can say lol

My GF's going NY for christmas this year, it's meant to be real good this time of year. Not much sun though lol

Yeah Rome did spring to mind, for £500 I seem to be able to get a 4 star hotel with BA flights....hmmmm
