View Full Version : Possible Meteore Entering Eath's Atmosphere last night

Last night at about 11:30 there was a big flash (but it didn't look like lightning so much) and the sound didn't sound like thunder, It sounded like a sonic boom.

Now my Facebook went crazy, people I know who live like 10-15miles from me were saying did anyone hear that?

It happened again this morning at 6:30 and now people are speculating it was meteores entering a leaving the earth's atmosphere.

I can believe it since we saw one about a year ago at around 2 in morning.
Anyone else hear about this.
On the local radio's people have been saying they were meteroes.

End of the world is near ;)

we've been having lightning for the last few days, its just little particles in the sky that are causing it, sometimes its looking like the northern lights as aberdeen had a green sky the other night

I literally fell off my chair while eating a Muller Yoghurt, was not amused in the slightest when it happened, thought six people were taking really big photos outside!
