Anyone work from home?

Just wondered if anyone works from home? what do you do?

If you dont work from home, then why arent you at work? :P

I can work from home, I work in IT so we have a VPN and I just take my laptop home so its all good!

Unfortunately I only like 20 minutes walk from work so the Snow wont help me get a day off lol
Although they do give everybody who makes it in during snow an extra days annual leave :)

But then I'd be a right fat fook so probs best i work in an office lol :P

i wish i worked from home!! but i very much doubt i would get much work done to be fair!!

It varies for me week to week. Sometimes I'll be at home, sometimes at the workshop, or sometimes I'm on the road picking up a car from somewhere. Oh and I'm a motor trader.

Work from a tidy 14'x11' home office.

It takes a lot of discipline and self-control to work from home. It's so easy to procrastinate, then deadlines get missed and it all starts to go down the toilet.
Also there is no clear time difference between work and play. Home is work, work is home. It's never really possible to get away from it.

Gets bladdy lonely and eerily quiet too. Only time I have anyone to talk to face-to-face is when the missus gets home from work at 6pm til about 11 when she goes to sleep. </3

It is good being able to drag myself out of bed at midday sometimes, work in my pants and stuff my face with food all day though. :y:

I will be working from home when the weather gets bad via VPN aswell :)

An ipad, you must be well in advance of our IT, we are still using XP ffs lol

Our helpdesk isnt setup to work from anywhere except the office!

I work for a hospice! I'm surprised how far we are advanced aswell! Our helpdesk is fully mobile, with an iPad version of it and everything :P I'm so looking forward to snow this year, I want to go build a snowman instead of sitting in here though!
