just to be on the safe side issit ok for me to listen to my bass at high levels
like HU vol 32 (max 40)
HU bass level +4 (max +12 or -12)
subwoofer level +2 (max +6 or -6)

the bass sounds great preset at these levels above

but my mate sais to much bass can burn the coil out is this true?

yeah you can burn out the sub by over powering it, but i would have thought it would distort and sound shit if you was over powering it

anymore than 80% of the HU power n the HU will start to burn out so no more than the volume you have your HU at but if you have worn your sub in and dont crank it up as soon as you turn it on in the car then youll be ok
