Wow... Ritchie’s Plates

Paid for my plates yesterday morning, and recieved the plates this
morning at 7:30am!!

Fantastic service! Super fast, and great quality plates!

Some photos off camera phone here, will get better photos when I am
back from hospital, and will also fit them then too.

Brought the price down a bit as it was kind of a bulk buy.

Was going to get another set, so i could put them on the golf, and a set
for my uncles van but he wants to get them done somewhere so he can
tell them where to place the letter so it looks better, it is D 1 J C T so he
wants it to read DUCT which is to do with his air conditioning business.

Didnt get plates for the car as they cost more than i paid for the car!

I was gutted!

My alarm would have gone off 5mins later, it would have meant alot!!!

Will get some photos of them on the car in a bit! They look great tho, use
loads of stickie pads on the focus tho as there are plastic bits that stick
out on the front so had to triple the stickers up!!

You've just given me a great idea there mike.

I was going to drill holes in my plates & screw them on.

But now you have mentioned *sticking them on* thats what iam going to do on my car.

Yeah its the way forward. I got some of the stickies off Ritchie, but sure
you can pick them up from halfords etc for cheap.

Make sure you clean under the plate, and then use some for of
degreasing agent. Then give it plenty of time to dry properly or the sticky
pads wont bond properly with the surface.

If there are any bumps on the car, like screw holes then flatten them off
as much as possible. If the plate will still be sitting on them then you
have to stick the sticky pads together until the plate sits over them!

If any of that doesnt make sense then just ask.

Haha, you replied exactly 6 hours after my last post.

Yeah i understand all that, i think there will be sticky out bits due to the screw holes, but i'll just get the hammer on the rear & sand paper on the front.

Yeah it wasn't screw holes as such causing the problem it was screw
mounting points. Didnt really want to sand them off as i couldn't be
bothered and will be selling the car soon.

sorry about that guys i did tell mr moore that these plates were new and that he would be the first ond only one to have them but landy snook in so i am sorry to mr moore BUT HE IS THE FIRST TO HAVE THEM AND WE DESIGNED THEM TOGETHER SO THANKS YOU M8(SORRY AGAIN)
