Hows the roads in Milton Keynes and M6/M1?

Im on a mission this morning, got to do the 160mile all round trip to Milton Keynes to collect a fridge freezer and TV. (in a car :panic ::n: :wacko:

I need to use the M6 n M1 im guessing the motorways will be clear, anyone from milton keynes telll me how the roads are please?

Theyre lovley mate. Outside lane has some snow on the edge if you feel like drifting towards the center armco.

Its 79.3 according to twat nav.Only taking it incase get diverted. Cause i know the way.
My fridge freezer fucked up. Got up at 7am to find it wasnt working. So ive phoened a few places no-one has got them or the two places that did are Home delivery only and wont deliver now. So im going to milton Keynes to get one of a mate. And the TV is just a bonus. he dont want lol

Haha, i said i should just put it all in the garden in the snow and shovel abit on top. The other half wasnt to keen on the idea. Silly Blonde. When i said i had to go all the way to milton keynes to get a fridge but asked if i could borrow a tenner for fuel rather than go cash machine her reply was "you can take my car if u want just filled up" .. erm love its a Mini....

If i was you mate i would stay away from the M1
both southbound and northbound have been at a standstill since the snow espesily near mk.

all the innerstates near the M1 juctions are gridlock so once you get into MK you will be stuck for a good hour on the same road

the 50 zone at MK is a ballache but not really any more problematic than normal. If you go in the lane thats armco's to itself the average cameras dont monitor there so can drive abit faster than the rest but was a lil bit more snowey than the main bit.

Cheers, and i dont mind being stuck lol. Gives me a break from the missus. if hit traffic ill get off M1 n see if the twat nav can source me a route. :y:
