hi,i've got a problem with my saxo(mk2-vtr-2001)key.:wall::wall::wall:
i'll strat from the begining,last week i had some little c##t deside to let his self in to my house(i was in the bath at the time/misses was out)he/they took my "only" car/house/garage key's and a some rent money off the side then left.
I rang an auto-locksmith who quotes me £100 for the job to be fixed,but he needed my chassis number and the number of the little security card you get,which i gave him straight away.The next day they turned up with a key,then spends 20-30 min's putting codes in an faffing about an eventually managed to start my car "hurray!!" but then he tried the door lock's and nothing,he then ask if it was 1 key that worked both lock and ignition,witch it was.So he said take it to the shop tomorrow and we'll sort it,so as ask i take the car in and still i get fobbed off with,"i need to contact citroen,again".so i went home and managed to force the fuel cap open so i could fill up.i took the car back in today and they tried wd40 in the locks(witch ive tried twice)then he said it must be frozen because the key's not going in like it should but i know full well the lock's not frozen and i know the key's going in far enough he's now ask if i can take out the door lock and take that in for them to look at.....FFS!!!:wall:.has anybody ever experienced anything similar,it doing my head in having to leave my car UNLOCKED where ever i go!!
THANK'S!! "SEAN"
