From this the strut bit worrys me but from your experience/opinion should these be easily fixed?

Well the strut problem is the top mounts, sounds like the bearings have died, so top mounts, easy to replace really.
But apart from that, it's just stupid silly things like headlight aim etc that's done it aswell.
Oh exhaust aswell, just put a standard system on, any sort of aftermarket backbox now is a MOT fail since they changed the laws :)

Wow cheers guys doesnt seem as scary now in the MOT centre they scare the hell out of you lol. Know nothing on mechanical and engine side so left them to sort struts. Could it be because it has been lowered? Also i would have swapped the cat over myself but their is like 20 inches of snow here lol didnt fance doing it. Ah no well it was decat granted but the back box was a pico one just bought recent :(
As for seats and headlight should sort myself but to be honest 2 hours prior to test i swapped my HID's to standard lol so could have knocked them

Yeh they say that in a horrible way to scare you lol, Yeh most probably mate cause its been lowered :)
Did you put the standard bulbs right way up? How i've seen so many people fail MOT's cause they put the bulb in wrong lol.
But overall, its all easy stuff to fix really, garage shouldn't even take a day to fix all that :y:

Cheers mate your probs correct about bulbs but that should be a quick fix just twist upside down and will i always have a problem now cos it lowered? because if its any conselation we have had massive pot holes due to the ice and bumpy roads which has shaken the car loads could this have caused it? And as for rear light has been a problem sice day one heard its a common fault but when bulb get fitted in rear light works spot on for about 2 days then either goes off or blows but only on the drivers side. Really fustrating i even siliconed it shut cos water seeping in was an issue but all the wiring is fine because i do alot of electrical work on the car but nothing to effect the lights.
