Civic for me. Cupra R looks good, but a bit too family carish IMO.

£22,500 for a civic type R? They are only £16/17K. And a brand new Cupra R should only be £15,500, not £19K. Where are you getting these prices from?

No the new type R isn't out yet, it's supposed to be released next year iirc.

I had one of the first Type-R's kept for five weeks then part ex'd it for a Tommi Mak Evo 6 in 2002. Found the Civic shite in the wet but very good in the dry. The tyres were half worn after 3k miles. If I was getting one it would have to be the Jap Spec one with 210 bhp & LSD. If I'm honest Cupra-R all the way ...... smileys/smiley17.gif

Not many of them about either. I'll throw another car into the ring. DC5 Integra, I'd have one of those over the Cupra-R ....... smileys/smiley2.gif

These prices include all the extras i wanted and end up being of similar spec, you're right on the base prices

The last of the Type-R's were 18.5k fully loaded with everything. Recaro seats,a/c,spots etc etc
I think you've been quoted a price for the new Type-R out next year. smileys/smiley2.gif
Either that or they've seen you comming

go for the cupra R matey. you have to ring the bollox off the civic to get to their power and the cupra R drives all the way through the range. iv driven my mums a couple of times and trust me they are awsome!you can sit in 6th at 80 and hit the throttle - the thing just takes off! feels like the VTR in second gear!
