National Sax-p meet

Right guys,

Looking at getting a national saxp meet in the works soon, i know we have a stand at fcs every year and each region has their own meets, but what if we were to hold a national club meet?
Crazy idea i know it sounds it but would be a great idea if this was too happen. I know im no regional leader of anything but Im prepared to get this going and all! Also looking back at records, would mean the saxo would have been around 15 years in 2011 :)

Have a few ideas on location, although im happy for all ideas on locations :) Brooklands is the main location fav at the moment due to the history there! Failing that other locations that could be considered could be The Heritage Motor Centre in Warwickshire? Like I said all ideas would be considered! If anyones prepared to lend a hand at all, Im all prepared to listern!

Yeah, did say in my orignal post about fcs and forgot about trax but just thinking mabe a national meet or weekend or even anything would be a good idea!
I did even hear sometime in feb theres a day at santa pod theres a rung wat ya brung say where like its club day! In general just thought it would be good to do something like this instead of being at a national show?

Bolton Abbey was only thought up like a couple of years ago. The only thing that stops me going to meets is working on weekends, if i didn't i would go to everyone i could, I take pride in my car and love showing it off, It isn't even one of the best on here, so people who have spent more time, effort and money on theirs should be showing theirs off more!
Why jump on peoples backs when all they are trying to do is organise meets, big meets at that, integrate the regions and get people together.

It was merely intended as a pre-season get together in an accomodating location with fruity roads nearby! There has been talk of an annual national meet and Bolton abbey could well be the location.

The way I see it is that the main shows - FCS and trax are both down south, yet a big majority of the active Scottish users always make the journey, so why can't the southern lot make a return trip ooop north?

Bolton Abbey 2011 will be bigger and better than the previous 2 years I've organised and I'll be speaking to my contact there about allowing "activities" going forward.

If anyone else wants to contribute towards organising a national meet then fill your boots but travelling will always be the biggest obstacle for most members

thing is, brookslands, yes its in surrey but like was looking through tinternet other night and found that z-tec club went there and there were some quality shots of cars on the famous track, mabe if we were to get a photographer in and poss do fotos? if not mabe a national club meet at the pod would be looked into? and if people wanted to they could go on track :)?
