Had a flat battery so took it out and checked it and put it back then put a battery pack on it to start it and when i turned the car on it reved at 4500 revs.

got it down to 2000 somehow but can't get it down to what it should be.

any ideas? Its kinda annoying and dont wanna use it till its sorted.

cheers guys

Mine does this sometimes if I use Jump leads or a Pack.

turn it off and start it without the pack if the battery's charged enough.

Or see if you can make the revs go down by putting it in gear :)

theres a vacume tube about 8/10mm in diameter that goes into the airbox buy the throttle in the engine bay, saxos normaly over rev on idle when this is leaking. try to see if you can see a leak in this pipe work.

Mine isn't connected, it doesn't idle too high.

Not saying it isn't that mind you... :fcuk:
