Managed to overtighten it as it was weeping a bit, snapped the top clean off and now pisses oil out everywhere. I looked and saw you can get new studs from citroen, but whats the best way of getting the old one out, and should i put anything knto the new stud before screwing it in?

Old stud. - Pair of mole grips, make sure they're tight when closed up, turn it out.
New stud + nut from citroen - £1.62 - Use a pair of mole grips but first cover it in a tea towel to put it in. Rocker cover on then tighten the nut :) Did it on my mates 1.4 furio now its perfect and is completely <3

To put the stud in you can get two nuts, screw then on then do them up against eachother. Then use the top one to screw the stud down. Then two spanners again to loosen them apart. No change of damaging the thread then! :)
