No item recieved/sent from SAM-S44MDS-p

SAM-S44MDS-p seems nice enough guy unsure what the problem was/is.

bought a clutch/gear linkage kit for £90 went all smooth had a laugh and joke around was nice.
He apparntly sent the item but failed to give or send me a tracking number, i kept asking him about the package but had 0 replys.
Decided to go through paypal as after a month he refused to refund although he did offer to send me another kit but i have no use for it as i had to go to the garage and spend £300 instead.

not really sure if hes a scammer as he seemed really alright but just maybe a be cautious in future.

Guy bought parts as stated fair enough. I posted them but explained that post may take a while due to crap weather etc and I was away aswell so wouldnt be online much (as you will all have noticed :zainy:)

Had limited access to internet as was in MK at a friends who lives on her own with kid etc and cant afford internet/phone so tbh took a while to reply to PMs.

The lad then decided he couldnt wait so I thought fair enough hes been patient etc...so offered him to either send another clutch out with a courier as opposed to RM (see if it was quicker) or to refund. Had no reply...next thing there was a paypal case opened....even though I offered the refund :S Doesnt make sense.

I have replied to all PMs, messages etc within a couple of days because as I said, had limited net access.

So I have refunded paypal.....paypal are now holding his money as I also supplied proof of postage to paypal.


I am £90, a clutch & 3 gear linkages out of pocket.....paypal has the £90...not much I can do now.

i did say i wanted refund but no reply happy to print screen messeges. im sure was just a mix up and stuff but just seems all abit iffy so just word of caution in future maybe.

il be fair he did offer a new clutch kit and linkages when we spoke! p.s if item turns up will ofc return it but id get bitching to royal mail or whoever u sent with.

If you want another 1 stick your number in the PM then it saves waiting for each other to come on line.
In all honesty I have a feeling RM have lost it, because it was collected 2days after I posted it


^^^^^ That was my PM to you.....at no point there did I refuse to refund. I simply gave the option as to a refund or send another kit. You chose paypal option.....so I refunded through paypal, and supplied the relevant proof. Its now in paypals hands, not mine.

I've traded with him many a time, he's a good lad. (must of traded over £500s worth of items with him)

Everyone has problems now and then, especially with postage. I've had people complaining (on ebay) about me in the past about postage, shit happens. It was completely out of my hands, a fault with DHL. I only ever use UPS now.

Sure it will all be resolved, and to be fair hes given you the refund like you requested.

Thanks knob head :hug: As Paul said ive traded over £500 with him, also some dealings with his brother. And had dealings with other members throughout the year with no issues. Unfortunatly it looks as though the weather is the reason for it going missing....RM have a massive backlog so is probably sat in a warehouse somewhere.

Its all been done through paypal now though anyway.....ive refunded on my part....although im still to find a clutch and 3 gear linkages...although this is RM's fault and not my own or Mcwaffles.

All though tbh I dont think the thread was really neccessary as all this was sorted outside the thread anyway :S

havin the same problem with this guy at the moment. said he would send me the tracker number about 2 days ago now? still hasnt PMd me with it and item still hasnt come. next day delivery was promised. but did it show? no.
keeps telling me hes not at his house to send me the tracker number.

Last guy was as impatient as you to. He only waited a week during bad snow across the country so not much could do. I have sold to alot of people on here and never had an issue...although they where all long standing members with patience.

Anyway, talking about the last guy, as he said above I refunded him the money when it didnt show....I still have no clutch either. So as it stands I have no clutch, no gear link, and no money. Not exactly a scam is it!!!

As I said, your clutch is sent, you have the tracking number, you can see it has gone

Paul I use RM quite alot tbf and havent had any issues up untill these last 2. I have sold about £800 in the last few months and barr these 2, had no problems.

Sam if you phone paypal and provide them with a tracking number they'll sort it out there and then. I had to do it a week or two ago as someone did something similar to me.

Seems like a definite case of jumping on the bandwagon in this thread, give the guy a break he has done everything within his power to sort it out. RM have been worse than ever, stop whining and trying to give a respected member a bad name.

Guy hasnt contacted me since he recieved it, yet he was quick enough to PM every 2mins and start a paypal claim within 2days :wall:

Anyway, just phoned paypal and gave him the details, spoke to a very helpful guy who said the guy was clearly an impatient tool :fcuk: and that he found it odd a claim was opened so soon. He told me to escalate it and he will close it and put the money back to my account :A:

I said further back I refunded you because I couldnt make you wait any longer, and RM where taking the piss. I claimed for the clutch I sent to you, and RM have now refunded me the money I insured it for. Fook knows where yours went :S.
I said further back mate you where patient and you have been refunded etc. Nothing was aimed at you pal, RM fucked us both over, but you have your money, I have a refund from RM.
