Colchester's quality for NYE, but usually absolutely heaving. So try get tickets to somewhere or arrive early n stick to a select few places - otherwise over half your night will be spent queuing.

Going mates then town, don't give a fuck about new years though. Chelmsford must be as busy as Colchester, pub i'm going to, last year it was one in one out from 7pm :S, another reason I don't want to go - ridiculously busy.

My new years was amazing, went to my mates flat in Bournemouth then a random wonder at 3am..

Saw 2 people fighting and a bum hanging out so i slapped it as you do then realised it was a guy and his missus fighting and her beaver was hanging out, temptation ;)

Then a group of suits threw a bottle at my mate so it kicked off (he was getting with his missus LOL)

Then woke up in the foetal position on the floor and couldnt move!
