A few things bugging me. I have a citroen saxo 1.1i Mpi x-reg. It's been fitted with 15" alloys from a Pug 306 which I whacked Citroen badges on. Got Pirelli 6000 185/55. So the overall diameter matches the previous 14in steels fitted. , (I presume anyway as the door sticker says 14in and the spare is a steel).
At the moment the rear wheels rub if I take turnings to fast with people in the back. I've been told its the arches hitting it when it leans. This is getting rolled/grinded on Tues professionally by a local garage.
So first off, if the wheels total diameter is the same surely lowering it should be the same as it would have been before, the distance that is. So how low should I go?
Also I live in Southampton. Is there any of you guys local who could help me with lowering it when I come to it, just don't fancy paying £100 to a garage. I'd throw you a bit if you could help so you wouldn't lose out.
And if there is anyone from Southampton, do you know a garage that will stamp my engineers form from my insurance company (Quinn direct) to say I've fitted my induction kit properly?
Cheerz
