I've been a member on here for sometime though I very much sit on the fringe, this is the first time i've really needed any help and believe me i'm desperate.
I own a 2000 VTS sweet car, 16"oz super t's and very subtle looking I love it to bits. Anyway was driving down to the bulls v rhinos game last night and just touched 100 on the m62 and acceleration went dead, from what I remember the engine was still running until I came to a stop on the hard shoulder and then it went dead and wouldn't restart.
I obviously shit 'em and thought the cambelt might have gone but it hasn't, the car tries to start and the cam shaft is turning but it won't fire up, has anyone had anything similar happen to them or does anyone know what it might be? Thinking of getting some diagnostics on it this week. Also as the cam belt is due i'm gonna get that done now as I feared the worst. Any ideas what cost i'd be looking at for the cam belt and whatever the other problem is if you have any ideas.
