Couple fo probs

Hi

I am new and hope you can help,

Problem 1
When changing gear ie going up down not side to side there is a loud squeek squeek noice as if some thing is not oiled. I aint very machanicly minded so could do with some advice

Problem 2
When turning corners there is a rattling sound coming from the front of the car, What could it be

ive got problem 2. ive got no idea what it is. it only happens when turning a corner and acclerating not just turning a corner.

Ya your right if i coast rounda corner so to speak its not there

I have a similiar problem. If you do a search people would have gone into more detail. It could be that your gearbox linkages need oiling with copper oil or the rubber has perished and that they need replacing. smileys/smiley17.gif

change the gearbox oil, thats the most common thing! smileys/smiley16.gif

problem 2 sounds like a cv joint??? i have same problem
