In feb last year i did a quote for a VTR getting £2700! :panic: i wasnt prepared to pay that so opted for a 1.1 saxo for £1700, still too much in my opinion.
Right, now i just tried with the same details as before for the VTR and i've been quoted £1700, in december i got £2300 ?? surprised its gone down so much in 1 month, anyone know why :p
It's going to be £1400 for my 1.1 in Feb to renew so now thinking of taking the cost to go to VTR :)

Ive found admiral quite cheap, its 1400 for me on a VTS, I'm 19 and have a couple of convictions, and my girlfriends a named driver aswell. try adding your parents on as named drivers, its completely legal and it will bring the price down considerably.

It's with Admiral and i've also got a conviction. Anywhere else want silly money very surprised with admirals quote.
Now it's just a case of finding a decent VTR, proving difficult atm

My mum rung Admiral yesterday to get a quote in her name and it still cost more than 2 grand :(
Looking in the for sale section on here is probably your best bet of finding a decent one :y:

Bear in mind Admiral add on like 30% to the price if you opt to pay monthly.....

It was only on compare the market though, so im not sure what Admiral will say, knowing my luck it will probably go along the lines of
"you cannot have modifications because you are under the age of 19" or something like that :n:

I had mods declared with Admiral on my old 306, it was odd though because they charged hardly anything extra for exhaust and induction kit but an extra £100 for alloys :/

Did you pay all in 1? Or monthly?
Paid it all in one, just borrowed the money of my mum and dad.
Oh and its fully comprehensive too

monthly is not the way to go if you can help it, all in one is far cheaper.
Looks like i'll be borrowing money off the rents too, least saves in long run. :y:

Live in Nottingham, btw changing it to parked on the road takes the price down for me maybe worth trying a quote doing that.
A Furio is £1550 for me, might have to go for a furio as i'm going to need money to p/x mine then pay towards next one. Not easy finding one in good condition either :(

Plenty of good ones about, traul through pistonheads, ebay, autotrader, gumtree and so on. Most will bring up samey results but there's some that're only put on one website. Got mine via that method and got it for a steal. I'm an old git though so my insurance isn't bad.
