I wouldn't want anything football related in my house personally.
(don't want any football supporters having a go, its just an opinion)
But the first photo is the best i reckon.

Got you, in that case i'd go and take a load more and do a montage? (cant remember what a load of photo's on one wall is called!!) Second photo is still great but i think the first one really stands out.

thing is with a montage it would be great if i had lots of different pics, but there is only so many that you can have of one stadium!

I prefer the second pic. But the first one isnt bad either.
think the first one might look better as a framed photo.

Scrap that. Go back and take the first pic again stood about 18 inches further left.....
You're ever so slightly off centre and off axis

no im not, its perfectly straight, it was on a tripod and lined up between the b and r, it was then cropped in picasa and made sure it was dead centre
should of gone to spec savers

If you are perfectly lined up, then the first is rubbish in my opinion. Not because of your photography skills but because the stadium isnt symetrical, ie theres a greater distance to the left emblem (lion thingy, emblems right i think? ha) than to the right. In which case id choose the second as the first would bug me to no end! Plus the second is a closer, more personal pic (if you can be personal with a stadium). esp as its the sort of view you see when your walking to the match.
