i was at the villa game today and it was the 1st of the season for me!
and yes we do miss O'Neill that much, we try to play possestion football but we are a counter attacking sides, just no movement on the ball, just glad i normally work on match days, it seems that the players believed in so much he gave them an extra 10 percent... plus no Ireland or carew.. please sort it out randy learner
2 frigging shots all game highlight was booing houlier at the end lol!
rant over lol:homme:

i dont think its that, i think its more like becuase barry went, milner went and it just seemed as if villa were not bothered about getting top 6 etc.

a question.. why do you think were getting these results though ? is it the top teams arent as strong as they used to be or the smaller teams are getting stronger ?

Teams are much more set up, and have bought well, i think if you look at what used to be rubbish teams a few years ago all have seasoned pros or players with world cup experience which is raising there standards,
Look at blackpool iirc they played chelsea and got done over and holloway said he never set hiz team up properly briefed them, so that shows the difference i level at the moment!

i think football is getting stronger as a sport in general. just everything about the game is rising; better trainining, pitches, conditioning and with that better players.. oh and yes money !
