hi mate
im buying one of these myself and i think they are fitted the same as the GE quickshift

heres a guide to ge one

http://www.saxperience.com/forum/showthread.php?t=106672

so realy you just pop off the link and put that in its place and then put that link onto that quickshift you just fitted
im not very good at explaining things but that guide will help you see

you are talking about this yeah mate?
http://www.kamracing.co.uk/index.php/review/product/list/id/1620/category/239/
just pop the longest gear linkage off with a 13mm spanner then put this in its place and put the linkage on that When bolted on it will foul the wiring loom, simply unclip the loom pull it up and you can hook it behind a metal flange and its out of the way

it should have a ball on top and something inside it for a ball to sit in

you take the link off the ball on the car end and then put this in its place and then you put your link onto that
i showed you that guide mate so you can see what link it is you have to take off
but you should have a rough idea how it works reading through that
i know it looks alot different but has the same effect

this is the pic you wanna look at
put yours on like that but with your ball at the bottom into that link

Do you mean the ones which include the gear stick too?
If so, I think you can get away with most of it from inside the car, though you may need to get underneath to pop the bottom ball joint together.

If you mean the part Ashbuster is on about then it fits between the longest gear linkage and the pivot arm. (theres 3 gear linkages in total, the longest is pretty obvious)

You'll have to lever the linkage off the ball joint with a screwdriver or spanner, fit the quickshift on and then re-attach the gear linkage to the quickshift.

It can be tricky to lever the linkage off, but be careful not to damage either part as it could mean you need a new linkage, and you have to buy all 3.

Have to get right under the car, back of the engine bay, should be quite quick to do, though sometimes you can reach over the engine if you're tall enough

No it's not

You can get at it either over the engine and down or from the underside round and through the subframe

It's a bit of effort but never an engine out job

He was taking the piss mate.

And yes you can do it from below or above but i would recommend taking the airbox out as it's just easier to get the linkages apart

I was 50/50 on whether he was taking the piss or not

Though I do know of some people who do do silly things like take an engine out just to do jobs like that....no idea why

Oh shit you are hilarious!

How do you take the firing pin retaining screw out of the bolt carrier assembly off an SA80 rifle?

Don't know? So how the krap would i know how to fit a quickshift lizard?

lol,
i just changed my gear linkages to these
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270672466111&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT
they have made a huge difference but my links were dodgey anyway
i jacked it up , put it on axel stands and did it from underneath
alot easier for me but your only changing the one part on the longest link and i think it mite be easier from underneath mate
