help standerd discs with 4 pots

could you use standerd discs with 4 pot calipers,as the discs i have are way to wide as cant get the pads in when they are fitted,they seem to thick.thanks ste

depends what size disc they are "supposed" to run mate , but as long as they were the right dimension in height it shouldnt be a problem if you were to use a thinner disc

they are supposed to run 278mm discs but the ones i have are alot bigger they are 300mm.so what discs should i get and from where.thanks ste

the discs i have are 24mm thick and 300mm and the pads wont go in as they seem to thick,so could i use another discs any help please.thanks ste
